In 1993 Toni was inducted into the Iowa Girls Track Hall of Fame.
We still run into coaches and former athletes who tell us stories and legends of the glory days
back in the 1970's when Toni amazed the crowds and dominated the track world in Iowa.
In the Iowa Hall of Pride Toni is listed as having won a total of 13 State Championships.

Toni has ran six road races this summer.
She has finished first 2 times and second four times.

This is what the newspapers looked like in the 70's when Toni Wiemers was TONI MOHR:

Above and to the right "Riceville 'co-coaches'" are Toni (District Coach of the Year in 1985) with
her son Paul (3 months old). Below are pictures of Toni running at Drake Stadium in 1977
and beside that is Paul (18 years old) running on the same track 27 years later. They are both
in the same lane, same curve, almost at the exact spot and in the same place in their stride!!
Toni ran a 2:13 half and Paul ran a 1:58 half.
